From Keita Amemiya, the director of the hugely popular Zeiram movies and Mechanical Violator Hakaider comes a tale of the mythic past - Moon Over Tao. The real standout of this movie is Yuko Moriyama who plays the part of not one, but three different aliens. You might recognize her as Iria from the Zeiram flicks. The kit from Fewture Japan is of Avira or Abira. She happens to be the baddest of the three alien chicks. Wonder how she got that scar across her cheek? If you want to be really accurate, you're gonna have to paint the line across her nose. I don't know if this is a scar or just alien makeup. I used thin washes to achieve the right effect. Her headgear also had a prismatic effect. It always changed colors depending on which way the light hit it. To simulate the effect, I drybrushed it with silver first. I then painted different colored bands on top of the silver with Tamiya clear paints.
