This is probably the best and most sought out Vampirella kit out there. A while back, I did some build-ups for Rick Alonso who worked closely with Susumu Sugita. I got a couple of these Vampirellas in trade. The original kit came in a white cardboard box with a photo of the finished kit and a photocopied instruction sheet. The five resin pieces were straw-colored and she had a tiny vent sprue underneath her chin. The tombstone says 'Shin Sugita' which roughly translates to 'Rest In Peace Sugita'. I hooked up with Susumu at a Chiller convention and wanted him to sign her skin like it was a tattoo, but he was scared that he would mess it up! He ended up signing the back of the tombstone with a rather fat Sharpie. This kit has recently been released by Moore Creations as a butt-ugly prepaint. Can anybody say 'paint stripper'?
